EXPERIENCE
Andrea Manganelli, born in 1965, Chartered Accountant as of 1993 and Statutory Auditor as of 1995, graduated in Economics at Rome University “La Sapienza”; in 1990 he was awarded the prize “Young Researcher of the Year” by the International Fiscal Association for his paper on Exchange of Information in Tax Treaties; from 1990 to 1993 he has been Research Associate at IBFD (International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation) in Amsterdam, the then most important centre of international tax studies.
From 1993 to 1998 he was first Associate and then Partner at Studio A. Fantozzi L.Biscozzi; from 1999 to 2004 he was Partner of Haarmann Hemmelrath Law Firm and from 2004 to 2008 he was Partner and Head of Tax Italy at Allen&Overy, always dealing with high profile issues especially pertaining to international tax and corporate law.
In 2008 he founded Studio Tributario e Societario Manganelli, and since 2015 he moved the main centre of the activities of the Firm to London, to better follow and assist his international clients.
He specializes in tax law, a field in which he has acquired a solid experience, and he assists primary multinational groups. The main focus of his activities is on the following areas:
- International and domestic transactions;
- Extraordinary operations and international corporate reorganizations;
- International tax planning;
- VAT and other indirect taxation matters;
- Tax litigation.
